The evening's festivities will start at 6:00 P.M. with a lighted parade down Ottawa's LaSalle Street. In addition to all the floats adorned with festive decorations, complimentary candy, live music and dance, Santa and Mrs. Claus are also scheduled to make an appearance at the event!
Expect to see some illuminated floats featuring favorite characters like The Grinch, the return of Ottawa Noon Rotary's Toy Donation Float, The Friendly City Sound children’s choir, a visit Ottawa's firetrucks and much, much more!

The parade will culminate in Washington Square, where you can join hundreds of festive friends in watching the park's beautiful lighted display get illuminated for the first time this season.

1000's of bulbs have been strewn across the park's trees, when lit they cast a magical glow that symbolizes for many in Starved Rock Country the unofficial start to the year's holiday festivities!

EDIT: This event was previously listed as occuring on Friday, November 22nd in error. It will be taking place on Friday, November 29th, starting at 6:00 P.M.
