Leone's Polaris, located just north of I-80 in Peru, will be be celebrating its big 50th anniversary this Saturday, September 28, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
In honor of this anniversary, Leone's has planned a jam packed celebration of all things motorsports, including demonstrations from dealers, free t-shirts, food, live music and big giveaways. Best of all, they've invited their friend Levi LaVallee, the world renowned Red Bull sponsored snowmobiler, out for a special fan meet and greet. Coming all the way from Minnesota, this is a rare opportunity for snowmobile racing fans to meet a legend of the industry.
In 2011, LaVallee set a world record by jumping across the San Diego Bay during the "Red Bull: New Year, No Limits" event. Remarkably, this record shattering 412 foot jump was completed less than a year after LaVallee broke his pelvis, during a practice run for the very same event.
A video starring LaVallee on Red Bull's youtube channel, "Urban Snowmobiling in Saint Paul" was a viral sensation in 2016, garnering more than a million and a half views.
