There comes a point in the life of a lover of all things deep fried, when they can tell just how tasty an item will be, based on how the batter looks.
After ordering an appetizer of the Wedron Office's onion rings, I knew right away from their light, flaky texture it was going to be awesome.
There was no disappointment --- except maybe that I had ordered a half order ($5.50), instead of a full ($9.50), since they were so good.
The batter had the perfect amount of salt to complement the onion inside.
There was a strategy, however. I had to make room for the fried bluegill ($15.95), which I rarely see on restaurant menus.
