Harbor Stories: Fall Flannel Edition!

Socially distant live music at Ottawa's Heritage Harbor

By Ryan SearlOct. 2, 2020

Alt-country troubadours Miles Nielsen, Kelly Steward and Edward David Anderson set to play at socially distant outdoor concert at Heritage Harbor's floating concert pavilion!

Bundle up in your favorite flannel, live music fans! On Sunday, October 11th, Heritage Harbor's floating concert pavilion, Knots Landing, will be playing host to a special outdoor edition of their popular Harbor Stories live music series. Regional favorites Miles Nielsen (son of Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen) and Kelly Steward will return to play this acoustic music series with notable Central-Illinois folksinger Edward David Anderson.

Capped at only 46 attendees, this rare Fall show promises to be a memorable night of intimate music on the waterfront. Guests will be required to practice social distancing while attending the show.

Tickets are $30, drinks will be available to purchase at the nearby Buoy Bar during the performance. Patrons are encouraged to grab a meal at Red Dog Grill, Heritage Harbor's delicious on-site restaurant, before the show or simply order carryout from the convenient Buoy Bar.

Act fast, tickets for this socially distant show are extremely limited. To reserve spot at Harbor Stories: Fall Flannel, simply visit: https://red-dog-grill.square.site/product/harbor-stories-fall-flannel-edition/37?cs=true

Located just a few miles from downtown Ottawa, perched above the titular Heritage Harbor, you'll find The Red Dog Grill. This seafood and American fare establishment has been hosting the Harbor Stories concerts since the series' inception (and wowing visitors with its brews, views and delicious food). While this month's show may not be featured inside the restaurant, we'd still highly encourage you to drop by and and enjoy a meal.

Red Dog Grill has just released their new Fall menu, filled with plenty of delectable comfort food and bold new concoctions. New favorites like Butternut Squash Salad (spring mix, roasted butternut squash, red onion, feta cheese, sunflower seeds, candied walnuts, and grilled chicken w/ bourbon maple vinaigrette dressing) and French Onion Grilled Cheese (toasted Italian panini bread filled with caramelized onion, mushroom and swiss cheese).
