To take part in the inaugural Campfire Concert event, guests must book a cabin for all three nights beginning May 20 and departing May 23. The concert will take place at 7 p.m. May 21, on Kishauwau’s sprawling central lawn, just a short walk away from all private cabins.

John King Kishauwau

Featured musical artist John King, a rising star in the contemporary country scene, has a talent for crafting songs that express the human experience, from growing up to falling in love. Inspired by country greats like Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash and Alan Jackson, King learned how to play guitar and was writing his own songs by age 16. His first full album, “Always Gonna Be You,” already has become a favorite for many country music fans. Equally as twangy as it is full of pop and soulful roots, you can’t help but sing along to these modern classics.

The exclusive package includes a community country-style picnic dinner with baked ham, fried chicken, red potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and a brownie, along with a bonfire and s’mores bar, and one small Tropical Sno Cone per guest, provided by Starved Rock Tropical Sno.
